Job Summary:

NHS Grampian is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiothoracic Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, treat, and provide ongoing clinical care for patients in our Cardiothoracic ward, Surgical High Dependency Unit, and Cardiac ICU.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Maintain and develop advanced practice skills, knowledge, and competence, as well as supporting the development of others within the team.
  • Participate in the clinical management of Major Trauma patients and contribute to the development of our trauma care services.

Requirements:

  • PgDip in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
  • Experience working in an ANP role, preferably in a Cardiothoracic setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
