About the Role
The Head of SEO Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact SEO strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring MAG's online presence is optimized for organic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership in developing and executing SEO strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and inspire a team of SEO specialists, fostering collaboration and overseeing on and off-page optimization initiatives.
- Stay abreast of search engine algorithm updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure MAG remains competitive in search engine rankings.
- Drive initiatives to optimize website architecture, content quality, and user experience, enhancing search engine visibility and overall website performance.
- Conduct thorough analysis of key performance metrics, regularly reporting performance trends and insights to stakeholders, and utilizing data-driven insights to refine and optimize SEO performance.
- Collaborate with MAG's content team, developers, and other Heads of Marketing to integrate SEO best practices into overall marketing strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment and synergy across departments.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing SEO teams to deliver strategic goals, knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and future trends, commercial success in improving organic search rankings and driving measurable organic growth, and experience of managing other performance channels.
