Job Summary

The Wynne Consulting team is seeking a skilled Robotics Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our robotics department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation solutions using robotics and mechatronics principles
  • Program and test industrial robotic systems
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to understand and define programming requirements
  • Develop and maintain industrial robotic systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Document programming processes, procedures, and changes for reference and training purposes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in robot programming
Requirements
  • Qualified to a minimum HNC level or equivalent in Manufacturing / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in programming robots
  • Good understanding of IO, transfer of information between Robot and PLC, and PLC functionality
  • Good understanding of robot program flow and basic programming theories
  • Knowledge of ISO and ISO robotic safety standards and how they apply
  • Experience in robotic spot welding, mig welding, material handling is required
  • Practical experience and good understanding of electrical circuitry and wiring
  • Sound mechanical ability to work on robot dress packages and peripheral equipment
  • Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Autocad
  • Proven ability and willingness to train and lead others
Working Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, hot objects, and loud noises. Full Health and Safety training and PPE will be provided for all conditions.
