This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in our Estates Services team. As an Estate Services Specialist, you will work closely with multiple departments, contractors, and managing agents to address and resolve any issues related to estate and building compliance.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  1. Conducting cyclical inspections of communal areas and amenity land
  2. Maintaining contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services
  3. Investigating and addressing customer and colleague-raised issues
  4. Identifying estates in need of improvement and collaborating with neighbourhood teams to address areas of concern, such as anti-social behaviour

Specific tasks involve:

  1. Testing safety equipment in communal areas
  2. Inspecting fire doors and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  3. Water testing to comply with Legionella risk assessments
  4. Car park inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards
  5. Performing minor repairs and maintenance to maintain property quality

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Knowledge of building compliance and fire safety (or willingness to develop this knowledge)
  • Attention to detail, good communication skills, and collaborative working style
  • Understanding of relevant legislation for the estate services sector
  • Minor building repair skills (DIY level) and basic physical fitness
  • A valid manual driving licence for a mobile role

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits including a contributory pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
