Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for delivering exceptional care services? We're seeking a highly skilled Registered Manager to join our team at Right at Home in Barnet and Edgware.

As a Registered Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our office, working closely with our franchise owner and a talented team of care co-ordinators, senior care givers, and care givers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership, management, and support to the team to ensure outstanding outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations, laws, quality standards, and policies, achieving a minimum of a 'Good' CQC inspection.
  • Accountable for the health and safety of staff and clients, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are followed.
  • Continually reviewing and improving processes to deliver the most effective and efficient service to clients.
  • Identifying and recruiting high-quality care assistants, implementing excellent training, and maintaining high retention ratios.
  • Ensuring the provision of staff training and delivering high-quality care services to vulnerable people in their own homes.
  • Designing effective scheduling to ensure care assistants deliver allocated care to clients.
  • Taking ownership of quality assurance and governance through scheduled spot checks, service reviews, internal audits, and annual surveys.
  • Completing and continuously improving assessments, risk assessments, and support plans to achieve client outcomes and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensuring the emergency on-call mobile phone is covered outside normal office hours.
  • Recording and reporting statistics to the Director as appropriate.
  • Performing ad hoc duties to support the Director, including covering carer duties when necessary.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Holding or working towards an NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care.
  • In-depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria for 'Good' and 'Outstanding' scores.
  • Management experience of service provision in the care industry.
  • Experience in managing people.
