Job Summary:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced psychiatrist to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to adults with mental health needs across Northern Barking and Dagenham.
The successful candidate will provide senior medical support and guidance to the team, work directly with adults and their families, and liaise with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing care to adults with mental health needs
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with adults and their families, and liaise with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota with a frequency of 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement
- Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member
- Work alongside other Adult Consultant Psychiatrists, a Specialty Doctor, and trainees
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies

Person Specification:
- GMC: Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- CCT: CCT or equivalent

- Knowledge: Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
- Specialist Register: Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
