EHCP Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated EHCP Coordinator to join our valued client, a local authority in the Wirral region. As an EHCP Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children and young people with special educational needs.

• Manage the development and implementation of EHCPs, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate assessments and reviews, collaborating with families, schools, and other stakeholders to identify individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely updates for each case.
• Engage with parents, carers, and educational professionals, providing support and guidance throughout the EHCP process.

• Proven experience in coordinating EHCPs within a local authority or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and the EHCP process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• A compassionate approach, with a genuine desire to improve educational outcomes for children and young people.
