As a Security Officer with Securitas, you will play a vital role in safeguarding people and assets across various sectors, including retail chains, corporate offices, and leisure venues.

The successful candidate will work primarily within the gatehouse, ensuring visitors are signed in and out securely, as well as managing lorries and conducting daily site patrols. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate logs and records, responding to emergencies, and promoting a safe and secure environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a renowned global leader in security services, contributing to the safety and security of customers, employees, premises, and property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage visitor access and signing-in/out procedures
  • Conduct daily site patrols to maintain a secure environment
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of visitors, staff, contractors, activities, couriers, and incidents
  • Respond to emergencies and conduct staff searches when required
  • Promote a culture of security awareness and vigilance among colleagues
Requirements:
  • A valid SIA Licence
  • Ability to travel to site (no further than 30 miles commute)
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history (enhanced screening required)
  • Proficient in written and spoken English language
  • Professional and customer-focused individual with IT literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
