About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN Teacher to join our team at Underley Garden School in Kirkby Lonsdale. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment for pupils aged 5-19 who have complex needs associated with autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and implement a curriculum that meets the individual needs of students
  • To promote positive relationships between peers and staff
  • To work collaboratively with the Headteacher to develop the school

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher who has a therapeutic approach to teaching and learning. You should have Qualified Teacher Status and experience working with Autistic pupils. A background in Early Years and Primary Teaching is desirable but not essential.
