About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EC&I Design Engineer to join our team at Delkia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing safety-critical systems for our clients in the clean energy, aerospace, maritime, and defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for safety-critical applications, ensuring compliance with client specifications and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and technical reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure that subsequent design meets project and client requirements.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of data and information received from clients is upheld.
  • Support and mentor apprentices and graduates, as required.
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of EC&I design software, such as Autocad Electrical or E-Plan P8.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain or hold suitable security clearance and be a British National.
  • Conversant with the Office 365 suite of software.
  • Plant process knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of one or more of a variety of PES technologies, such as PLC, SCADA, DCS, SQL Server, Modicon M, MIS/HLS.
