Teaching Position in Humanities

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team as a Fixed Term Teacher of Humanities. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to inspire students in Gateshead.

Job Description:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in History, Geography, and/or Religious Education.
  • Apply various teaching methods to cater to students' diverse abilities.

Requirements:

  • Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Humanities subjects, with experience teaching at the secondary school level.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
  • Possession of an updated CV and enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply).
  • An immediate start in a supportive school environment.
