About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Radiographer to join our team at the Oxford Cancer Centre. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our radiotherapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a senior member of the team, covering all sections of the department, including mould room, CT scanning, virtual simulation, and contouring.
  • Deliver a wide range of radiotherapy treatments, including IMRT, VMAT, DIBH, IGRT, complex SABR, SRS/SRT, and TBI.
  • Support the team leader in the day-to-day management of the pre-treatment or treatment work area, assisting in the organisation and management of the clinical workload.
  • Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Supervise, support, and teach junior members of staff and students.

Requirements
  • Post-registration experience as a Therapeutic Radiographer with rotations through pre-treatment and treatment.
  • BSc (Hon) in Radiotherapy.
  • HCPC Therapeutic Radiographer registration.
  • Core knowledge of radiotherapy equipment and techniques, as well as principles underlying them.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
