AV Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Technician to join our technical production team at OneTwo. As an AV Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality events and productions for our clients.

• Test, maintain, and prepare a wide range of AV equipment, including audio, video, lighting, rigging, IT, and livestreaming systems.
• Perform maintenance and servicing of equipment, including PAT testing and repairs.
• Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and integrate them into our operations.
• Set up, operate, and dismantle AV and livestreaming equipment on-site.
• Lead technical aspects on small to medium events, ensuring seamless execution.
• Conduct site inspections and produce detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently during events.
• Produce scale floor plans using CAD software.
• Compile AV quotes and understand clients' technical needs.
• Manage equipment and assets using our systems and procedures.
• Support production managers in planning and executing events.
• Load and unload vans/trucks safely.
• Deliver equipment to event venues using company vans.
• Participate in training programmes to advance your technical skills.

• 2+ years of experience in the live events industry, with a strong background in AV technologies.
• Experience working with Midas and Allen & Heath mixing consoles, Dante audio networking, and media servers.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as Wysiwyg, Visio, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of setting up and managing networks, recognising the convergence of AV and IT.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team on complex projects.
• Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight to support events across the UK.
• Full, clean UK driving licence (desirable).
