About the Role

Green Cat Renewables Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering renewable energy projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and review electrical systems for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to manage and mitigate electrical risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide electrical input and guidance to project managers, ensuring electrical works are completed to the highest standard.
  • Review and approve electrical designs, specifications, and scopes of work for tendering.
  • Assist in the preparation of electrical technical reports and documentation.
Requirements
  • BEng or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years' experience working in the renewable and/or power generation industry, with knowledge of inverter-based generation.
  • Proven experience in managing renewable projects' electrical elements and respective teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
