About the Role

We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Springcare Care Homes Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive high-quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and presentation.
  • Work closely with the head cook to ensure food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations and resident preferences.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Under the guidance of the head cook, maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures.
  • Be aware of and respect the varied dietary requirements and preferences of our residents.
