About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at The Boots Company PLC. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a service lead store with a supportive team of experienced ACT's, dispensers, and pharmacy advisors.

This role involves delivering expert care and advice to customers and patients, ensuring customer and patient safety through continual review and audit, building the pharmacy capability of store teams, conducting risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations, and delivering a range of professional pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Pharmacy Strategy:
  • Providing Expert Care: Offer expert advice and care to customers and patients.
  • Ensuring Safety: Continuously review and audit processes to ensure customer and patient safety.
  • Team Development: Build the pharmacy capability of store teams.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Service Delivery: Deliver a range of professional pharmacy services.

Requirements:
  • Registration: Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
  • Expertise: High levels of professional expertise and respect from stakeholders, peers, patients, customers, and external professionals.
  • Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and patients.
  • Collaboration: Collaborative approach with a team-centered mindset.
