Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our 'Good' primary school in Camden. This institution is renowned for its academic excellence and strong reputation in the local community for providing exceptional support to students with special educational needs (SEN).

This role involves supporting teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment, assisting students with SEND, and contributing to the development of tailored education plans.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a passion for working with children. A Level 3 qualification in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) or equivalent experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in lesson planning and delivery to meet the needs of students with SEND
  • Assisting students with their daily routines, including administering medication and implementing individualized behavior plans
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
