Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Software Engineering to join our team at Digital Waffle. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our software engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Agile delivery teams to ensure a smooth process from concept to completion for each element of our digital product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and implement software development strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our software engineering practices remain best-in-class.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Python and JavaScript.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing software engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and drive business growth through software engineering initiatives.
