Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Generator Engineer to join our team in Bedford, GB. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and repairing generator equipment, including load banks and building loads.
- Inspecting and testing generator systems to ensure they meet Vertiv standards.
- Identifying opportunities for extra works (SQD) and recommending improvements.
- Completing reports and submitting them to service administration in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- A National Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Previous experience in a related field, such as generator standby power or electrical/electronic manufacturing.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A strong understanding of PLC and microprocessor systems.
Compensation:
The salary for this role is approximately £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
