Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carrying out groundwork repairs, including excavation and backfilling, to ensure the stability and integrity of construction sites.
  • Undertaking bricklaying work, including laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials, to meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
  • Making good damaged surfaces by repairing or replacing damaged sections, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Applying wet cement to seal and protect surfaces, ensuring durability and longevity.
  • Mixing and applying sand cement to repair cracks and holes in surfaces, restoring their original condition.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CSCS certification, demonstrating your commitment to health and safety.
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), essential for protecting yourself and others from harm.
  • A set of tools appropriate for the trade, reflecting your professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar trade, showcasing your expertise and ability to adapt.
  • Relevant references from previous employers, highlighting your exceptional work ethic and teamwork skills.
