Residential Childcare Support Worker

About Us: Polaris Community seeks a dedicated individual to join our team as a Casual Child Residential Support Worker. We provide young people with accommodation and support them to move towards independent living and educational achievements.
Salary: £12.02 per hour.
Job Description:
The role involves providing a responsive, customized, and quality service to young people placed in their individual flat or shared house. Responsibilities include working in line with person-centred risk assessments, support plans, and liaising with support workers to provide a full handover. You will also maintain positive working relationships with young people, staff, and professionals by communicating effectively at all times.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need experience of supporting young people who may be vulnerable. Flexibility is key, as the role will include weekend work. A Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent is also required. Additionally, you will need to hold a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
