Inductor Engineer RoleAbout the PositionKnowles Corporation is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Inductor Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge inductors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and inductor design principles, as well as proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop inductors for various applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to translate designs into high-quality products.
- Develop test methods and qualification plans to demonstrate product performance.
- Analyze and simulate inductor performance using electromagnetic simulation tools.
- Develop and validate prototypes to meet customer and product requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and support during product testing and validation.
- Optimize inductor designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
- Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Prepare and present technical documentation and reports.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with 5+ years of experience designing inductors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills.
