Clinical Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Services Lead to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Services Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of our Children's Services and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient care and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to designated teams, acting as Medical Lead for our Matron team at the RACH.
- Support the Directorate Lead Nurse and Clinical Director to ensure that high-quality patient-focused care is delivered within their designated areas and throughout the RACH.
- Lead and manage the Ward Managers and Specialist Nurses for Medicine (L9), High Dependency Care, Oncology day care, Respiratory and Epilepsy teams to ensure that high-quality patient-focused care is delivered.
- Work closely with the CYP Mental Health Lead Nurse in order to support, develop, and deliver effective pathways of care within Children's Services.
- Actively participate in the clinical and operational management of the RACH, acting as a highly visible, clinical leader and role model while ensuring the provision of quality patient care, sharing expertise with colleagues.
- Promote learning, professional curiosity, and hold others to account.
- Lead the educational and training programs for their designated teams, working in collaboration with our Practice Development teams.
