About the Job

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Theatre Nursing Specialist to join our theatre team at The Portland Hospital.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, with shifts covering Monday to Sunday. As a senior member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care and safety within the operating unit.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent nursing care and support to patients undergoing surgery
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless patient flow

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration
  • Postgraduate experience in theatres, preferably with paediatric cardiac specialism
  • A minimum of 2 years' scrub operating theatre experience, covering various specialties
