We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Avanti West Coast. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a procurement strategy that aligns with our national, regional, and local requirements.

Key accountabilities for this role include liaising with First Group Procurement and associated Train Operating Companies (TOCs) to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of delivering procurement solutions on various categories of spend, good knowledge and application of Utilities Contracts Regulations with respect to tendering, and a good level of understanding of contract law in the IT category.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing costs, risks, and compliance through robust contracts with approved suppliers, while ensuring alignment with First Group's legal governance, requirements, and obligations.

The role offers a range of benefits, including a final salary pension, free travel on Avanti West Coast for you and your family, and 30 days annual leave rising by 1 day for every completed year of service to a maximum of 37 days.
