We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practice Support specialist to join our team at Primary Integrated Community Services. As a General Practice Support specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinics, improving patient flow, and enhancing the overall patient experience.

About the Role

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for preparing patients for GP appointments, taking brief histories, and conducting basic readings. Your excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities will enable you to develop strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and local communities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preparing patients for GP appointments and taking brief histories
  • Conducting basic readings and observing patients
  • Sorting clinical post and prioritizing tasks for GPs
  • Extracting information from clinical letters and adding it to patient notes
Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths Grade C or Equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook
