Role Overview: As a Biology Educator, you will be responsible for teaching Biology across Key Stages 3 to 5. Your primary objective will be to deliver engaging and effective lessons that stimulate curiosity and foster a deep understanding of the subject. You will work collaboratively with the Science Department to develop innovative teaching strategies and contribute to the continued success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Ensure lessons cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, promoting achievement and progress for all
- Develop and implement effective schemes of work and assessment strategies
- Inspire students with a love for Biology and encourage them to pursue the subject beyond school
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to extracurricular activities related to Science, such as clubs, trips, or enrichment opportunities
