The Role

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Health Outcomes Research Manager to join our team. As a key member of our pharmaceutical company, you will play a vital role in driving patient access solutions and aiding evidence-based decision making across our Prescription Medicine portfolio.

In this role, you will provide robust relevant real-world data and epidemiological reasoning to support the development of innovative healthcare products. You will also be responsible for raising awareness of disease and/or product-specific outcomes related to our portfolio and contributing to the publication of outcomes research studies.

You will work closely with our stakeholders to facilitate the evidence base supporting HTA and payer value propositions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the production of successful epidemiological and real-world data studies to generate insights about disease burden and treatment landscapes.
  • Assisting in the writing of protocols, data analysis, and report production.
  • Remaining up-to-date on external developments regarding RWE methodologies accepted by Health Technology Assessment agencies and related stakeholders.
  • Monitoring literature for trends in outcomes research/epidemiology/biostatistics and stakeholder engagement.

Key Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, data science, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification, e.g., MSc/PhD in Epidemiology or a related discipline.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (depending on experience)
