## Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Physician in General Medicine to join our team at Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway, Scotland. As a Consultant Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in a rural setting. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes and contribute to the development of our hospital's services.

## Key Responsibilities:

* Provide medical care to patients in a rural setting
* Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes
* Contribute to the development of our hospital's services
* Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

## Requirements:

* Be on the GMC Specialist Register, with License to Practice, or be eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register within 6 months of the date of interview
* Have a passion for remote and rural medicine
* Be keen to escape the rat race and embrace a healthier work-life balance

## What We Offer:

* A competitive salary of £96,963 - £128,841 per annum
* A Distant Island Allowance of £1,279 per annum
* Up to £8,000 relocation expenses
* A permanent post with 40 hours per week
