About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Courier Specialist to join our team in South Shields. This is a temporary position with the potential for up to 37 hours of work per week, spread across 5 days including weekends.

The hourly rate for this role is £13.37PH, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to supplement their income or gain valuable experience in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver parcels and mail to local communities using a hand-held computer device to track routes and manage mail collections.
  • Sort and gather mail at the local delivery office before embarking on daily routes.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery deadlines and provide excellent customer service.

This role requires a full UK manual driving licence, held in the current address, with no more than 6 penalty points and no IN/DD/DR/CD endorsements. A DBS security check will also be required prior to commencing work.
