STEM Tutor Opportunity in Hounslow

Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified STEM Tutor to join our team in Hounslow. As a STEM Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic development of students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of STEM Tutor. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in a STEM-related subject and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. As a STEM Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential in STEM subjects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and support to students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
  • Mentor and tutor students in small groups and one-to-one settings
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and teachers
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless student support
Requirements
  • First-Class or 2:1 classification in a STEM-related degree subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths)
  • Excellent A-Levels and GCSE grades
  • Ambitions of qualifying as a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths Teacher in the future
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
