RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a talented Financial Manager to play a critical role in its UK finance team, driving financial performance and strategic decision-making for its offshore wind operations.

About the Role
  • This role requires a seasoned finance professional with expertise in technical accounting, project finance, and strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will oversee the financial aspects of a large-scale project, providing strategic advice to management and stakeholders.
  • The Finance Manager will be responsible for producing timely and accurate management accounts, statutory accounts, and technical accounting advice for 9 legal entities within the project scope.
  • Duties include overseeing financing arrangements, cash management, quarterly reporting to RWE Group, and liaising with auditors and co-investors as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify potential issues are essential for this role.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
  • Influencing internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Organisational skills, including self-motivation and prioritisation of tasks.
  • Able to challenge assumptions and theories, possessing a deep understanding of IFRS and technical accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting financial information to non-finance experts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, IFRS, and SAP or equivalent ERP systems is required. Knowledge of CCH accounts preparation software and business awareness of the energy industry are desirable.
  • Possession of a recognised accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, is essential.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000-80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. A competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development are also offered.
