About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Long Term Team in Newcastle. As a dedicated and passionate professional, you will work closely with children and families to provide long-term support and make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of children and families requiring long-term support.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the needs and strengths of service users.
  • Provide ongoing support, intervention, and monitoring to ensure that care plans are effective and updated as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with service users, families, and carers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and family support.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a social work role, particularly in long-term or ongoing case management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective, long-lasting relationships.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and child protection.
