Career Opportunity: Technical Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and ensuring that all technical service commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and ensure that all technical service commitments are met.
  • Ensure compliance with HV/LV rules and regulations.
  • Oversee statutory and code compliance of sites, ensuring that local management teams and specialist teams adhere to regulations.
  • Deliver risk management consistently across all contracts.
  • Recognize areas of team development and create action plans for improvement.
  • Hold High Voltage and Confined Space authorizing engineer certifications.
  • Provide technical support to site teams.
  • Ensure staffing structures and competencies are in place across the site.
  • Ensure the presence of HV/APs and LVAPs/LVHV APs where required.
  • Run internal training programs for LVAP and LVHV APs.
  • Investigate and assist with RCA on major operational incidents.
  • Attend operational meetings as required.
  • Promote management systems and processes developed for the company.
  • Communicate contractual concerns with senior management to ensure resolution.
  • Assist with contract bidding and mobilization of new contracts.
  • Develop and implement business-leading concepts across the company.
  • Promote and maintain the core values of the company.

Requirements:

  • HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field (desirable).
  • Professional Engineer license (MIET, CIBSE, etc.) (desirable).
  • A strong technical background in HV, LV, UPS, and HVAC.
  • HVAP - Current (essential).
  • Full understanding of BREEAM and LEED accreditation (preferred).
  • Proficiency in SFG20 and SFG30.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of business-critical services (UPS and MGPS, etc.).
  • Full understanding of statutory compliance.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
