Role Overview – CMM Inspector
Our leading engineering client, Omega Resource Group, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CMM Inspector to join our Quality Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the manufacturing processes, with a focus on the operation, programming, and maintenance of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of manufactured parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Operate and maintain CMMs, including programming and calibration, to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to prevent defects and ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to resolve quality-related issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Provide training and support to production staff on quality control procedures and CMM operation.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
