Location: South East London

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £100 - £110 per hour

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualised support to students with ASD and SEMH needs, promoting their well-being and encouraging positive behaviour.
  2. Promote all students to improve behaviour through educational vices whilst also supporting and managing social and emotional needs.
  3. Help students feel accepted in their differences and channel new outlooks to feed an exceptional future.
  4. Assist in implementing effective teaching strategies and interventions to enhance the learning experience for students with SEMH.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working as an LSA or youth mentor, ideally with a focus on ASD and SEMH.
  2. A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding.
  3. Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies and interventions, as well as a commitment to continuous professional development.
  4. Relevant qualifications and certifications in SEN support are desirable but not essential.
