Priory Hospital Newbury is a renowned mental health hospital, rated outstanding by the CQC. Our hospital boasts 30 beds, comprising male recovery and rehabilitation wards, as well as mixed acute wards. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychologists, creative therapists, consultant psychiatrists, and a lead nurse, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients.

We are currently seeking experienced registered mental health nurses to join our team on a full-time basis. Part-time hours will also be considered. As a successful applicant, you will work with patients presenting with a range of mental health and psychological needs, undertaking and managing direct patient care, and participating in the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care needs.

Key responsibilities include being flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, and interested in working within a modern, forward-thinking, and effective specialist service. You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, adopting a proactive, therapeutic, and recovery approach to care management within a supportive and healing environment.

Successful candidates will have previous experience in adult mental health services, with experience in acute and rehabilitation services and the recovery model being an advantage. We offer a competitive welcome bonus, with percentage splits based on working hours: 16 hours and below contract – 0%, 16.5 hour contract – 50%, and 33 hour + contract – 100%.
