CNC 5 Axis Programmer/Operator Job Description

Major Recruitment Oldham Industrial is seeking a skilled CNC 5 Axis Programmer/Operator to join our team in the Wythenshawe area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Program and operate 5-axis routers, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  2. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and product development requirements to ensure accurate machining and production.
  3. Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment, adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals, including stock control, inspection, and packaging.
  5. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge, including aircraft approvals and company-specific procedures.
  6. Work flexible hours, including overtime during busy periods and potential night shifts.
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in programming and teaching 5-axis routers, with minimal training required.
