Senior Business Development Manager

About the Role
Fieldfisher is seeking a skilled Senior Bids Manager to lead our business development efforts.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in professional services, preferably in a legal setting, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the production of winning tenders for major multi-area and key targets, and existing client bids and proposals for a range of our clients and prospects.
- Lead UK tenders from initial opportunity through to drafting, submission, post-submission feedback, and reporting.
- Project lead global bids, coordinating activities by international partners and Business Development colleagues.
- Understand all elements of a quality submission and ensure responses correctly and fully address the needs of the client.
- Identify individual evaluation criteria for each tender and explain this to key stakeholders, particularly concerning pricing.
- Design compelling presentations and work with the Head of Bids and Operations to prepare key staff for interviews.
- Undertake post-pitch feedback interviews with clients.
- Produce tender analysis and report on themes from client feedback.
- Maintain an up-to-date bid library and team reporting.
