We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Trainer to join our team at Howden. As a Software Trainer, you will play a critical role in creating and delivering software training programs for our staff, focusing on Insurance Applications, Microsoft Office, and other bespoke systems.
Key Responsibilities- Training Program Development: Plan, create, and deliver IT systems and other projects as required, both in-classroom and virtually.
- E-Learning Content Creation: Develop eLearning materials using various applications, such as Adobe Captivate and Digital Adoption Solutions (DAS) like WalkMe/WhatFix.
- Training Record Management: Maintain accurate training records and metrics.
- First-Line Support: Provide maintenance of first-line user support help functions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal stakeholders and other organizations to identify areas for business training support.
- Software Application Training: Deliver training on Insurance software applications, MS Office (including Teams/O365), and other bespoke internal IT applications.
- Needs Assessment: Assess individual and group needs to develop targeted training solutions.
- Research and Development: Research, plan, and prepare/update new/existing materials.
- Technology Integration: Utilize new technology, such as DAS and Teams, for delivery.
- Post-Training Evaluation: Conduct post-training assessments to identify areas for improvement and knowledge transfer.
- Experience: Prior training delivery experience (classroom and virtually) is essential.
- Insurance Knowledge: Insurance knowledge, preferably including LM knowledge, is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Office Skills: Microsoft Office skills, including Teams/O365, to an advanced level are essential.
- E-Learning Experience: Experience in creating and maintaining eLearning materials, preferably on Adobe Captivate and DAS-style platforms, is highly desirable.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with good planning and time management skills.
- Independence and Initiative: Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Adaptability: Able to positively react to change and remain resilient under pressure.
