Ambulance Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our patient transport team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient transportation services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
  • Assist patients with challenging behavior and/or mental health illnesses
  • Ensure the ambulance is kept safe, clean, and tidy
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Committed to patient care and safety
  • Effective communicator with experience in emotional situations
  • Calm, considerate, and careful driver with a valid UK driving license
  • Physically fit for patient handling and moving
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS check
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts
