Job Summary

Priory Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated Consultant Psychiatrist to lead a multidisciplinary team in our acute mixed ward. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing a team of professionals, and contributing to service development activities.

Main Duties

The Consultant Psychiatrist will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participating in service development activities and governance meetings

Job Responsibilities

The Consultant Psychiatrist will be responsible for:

  • Leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans that promote patient recovery and well-being
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participating in service development activities and governance meetings

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A higher medical qualification (MRCPsych or equivalent)
  • Evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR)
  • Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC
