Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Building Services team in Billericay. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in M&E systems, ensuring they are economical, safe, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Engineering Associate/Director to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Lead the design of schemes, providing high-level technical expertise where required.
  • Undertake feasibility studies and meet with clients to establish project briefs and budget costs.
  • Draw up detailed specifications and drawings against client briefs.
  • Review and ensure all projects are completed to a high technical standard.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in M&E design, with a strong understanding of building services.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
