Career Opportunity in Old Age Liaison Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Triple West Medical, specializing in Old Age Psychiatry.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing complex cases and providing exceptional patient care. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services.

The appointee must possess the following qualifications:

  • Fully registered with the GMC (essential)
  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
  • GMC's Specialist Registration or Specialist Registrar within six months of completing CCT
  • Publishing experience in the field of psychiatry
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with elderly patients, carers, and relatives
  • Able to work as part of a diverse team
  • Experience in training psychiatric core trainees and multidisciplinary staff

Additional Information

The Liaison Psychiatry Service works closely with mental health staff based within acute hospitals, including specialist alcohol nurses, dementia nurses, and sessional psychological therapists.
