We are seeking an experienced and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a critical care specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines
- Current full UK NMC Registration
- Level 1 or relevant children's qualification
- Teaching qualification or equivalent experience
- Relevant post-registration course
- Extensive post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting
- Experience in recognising and responding to deteriorating patients
