About the Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Assistant to join our team at a Barchester care home in Southampton. As an Activities Assistant, you'll be responsible for delivering imaginative and engaging activities to ensure our residents can enjoy a fulfilling and motivational environment.

Your role will involve helping us deliver an entertainment and activities programme that covers a wide range of pastimes, social activities, outings, and events. You'll work closely with our residents to understand their interests and preferences, and develop activities that cater to their needs.

What We're Looking For

We don't require any specific experience for this role, but you'll need to have a passion for working with older adults and a sense of fun and creativity. You should also be able to encourage and motivate others, and have a real interest in the people we support.

A competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum is on offer, along with a range of benefits including free training and development opportunities, access to wellbeing and support tools, and a retail discounts scheme.

Additionally, you'll receive unlimited referrals through our Refer a Friend bonus scheme and Employee of the Month rewards and Long Service Awards.
