Role Overview:

The Transport Planner role is available at More Recruitment Solutions. As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for optimizing the efficiency of transport operations.

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods within the fleet.
  • Optimize routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to clients across the UK.
  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day transport operations, including dispatch debrief and work in progress.
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to clients.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and maintain a strong focus on Health and Safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to supplement the fleet and meet customer requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and communication at all levels.
  • Utilize Excel and cloud-based documents for task management.
Job Details:
This role is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday within office hours. The salary range is £28,000 - £36,000 per year. Benefits include company pension, flexitime, free parking, and on-site parking.
