As a Senior Wedding & Special Events Manager, you will be based just 3 miles from Windsor, minutes from J13 of the M25, and 15 minutes from Heathrow. Egham station is also 3 miles away with fast connections to London Waterloo and Reading.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Wedding & Special Events Manager to lead our team of wedding professionals in creating magical experiences for our guests. This pivotal role brings weddings and special events to life, requiring a leader who can motivate and engage their team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 2 wedding managers, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Conduct captivating show rounds to showcase our venue to the local wedding market, highlighting our unique features and benefits
  • Plan and execute unforgettable events from start to finish, effectively communicating guest requirements to our operational team
  • Work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and late evenings, to accommodate our guests' needs
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a wedding coordinator/planner role, preferably within a 4-star quality hotel or events venue
  • Experience managing a team, with a proven track record of motivating and engaging team members
  • Passion for events and commitment to delivering memorable experiences for our guests
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and guests
  • Confidence using IT software, with familiarity with Opera software an advantage
