About the Role
As a Support Worker for Deaf Children, you will play a vital part in ensuring that deaf children and young people experience positive differences in their lives. Your role will involve working directly with families to provide bespoke communication and support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working with families to identify and address communication barriers.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to parents and carers.
  • Facilitating family fun days and special one-off trips to promote social interaction.


Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children and young people, particularly those with sensory impairments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.


The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 per year, based on 18.5 hours of work per week and an hourly rate of £12.89.
