Job Title: Construction Delivery Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Delivery Lead to join our team at Rullion Limited. As a key member of our Construction Delivery Group, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction activities of Tier 1 contract partners across the Nuclear Island (Unit 1 & 2) at Hinkley Point C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Construction Delivery Managers (CDMs) to ensure they have the tools, training, and guidance to succeed in their roles.
  • Champion safety culture and enforce compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, NNB Construction Phase Plans, and other safety protocols, undertaking inspections and audits.
  • Work closely with Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Lead daily and weekly meetings such as Plan of the Week (PLOW) and Plan of the Day (PLOD) sessions, ensuring alignment between contractors and project timelines.
  • Proactively manage risks, safety concerns, and logistics challenges to maintain project continuity.
  • Oversee the review of contractor-submitted documentation, such as Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and ensure that all construction activities are compliant with relevant safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience managing large-scale civil construction projects, ideally in sectors with stringent safety and regulatory requirements (nuclear or high-security projects highly desirable).
  • NEBOSH, SMSTS, or IOSH certification.
  • Proven track record in overseeing strategic planning, construction sequencing, and resource management.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, prioritise competing demands, and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • A solid understanding of CDM Regulations and the ability to uphold high safety standards across complex work environments.
